AHHHH! I'll post more later, but i'm so excited that I have to just yell it out- WE WON "Best technique" for our tour du chocolat piece! And third place on taste! AHHH! Seriously on the top of the world right now. And after winning, got to walk around down town having a blast with my awesome friends and then went and played taboo with them.. yes... it was a spectacular day.. More update on this later. way to goooooooooooooooooooooooo! if you woulda helped me wit my strawberry cake maybe it wouldn't have looked like a chocolate cake! DOES SIFTED FLOUR REALLY MAKE THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE?
ReplyDeleteHahaha I'm sorry I was too late getting back to you! YES! Sifted flour makes HUGE difference- also how you are scooping flour, (scraping with knife, packing down, etc...) makes massive difference! Measuring everything by weight instead of using measuring cups.
